Welcome to the LataSys Documentation
LataSys Defender Quarantine gives Microsoft 365 end users self-service access to their quarantined email — without granting them tenant-admin permissions. This site has two parts:
- Public — what you're reading now. Open to anyone. Covers installing, configuring, and using the product.
- Internal 🔒 — staff-only architecture, runbooks, and operational references. Sign-in required.
Where to start
The product has two surfaces. Pick the one that matches what you're trying to do:
| You are… | Read |
|---|---|
| A tenant administrator setting up the product for the first time | Portal → Getting started |
| An admin who has installed the Outlook add-in and wants users to find their quarantine | Add-In → Installing |
| An end user trying to release a quarantined message | Add-In → Using the add-in |
| Triaging an issue your users are reporting | Add-In → Troubleshooting |
How this product fits together
Both the portal and the add-in talk to the same backend. The portal is where an admin onboards, manages the subscription, and watches deployment health. The add-in is where end users actually do something with their quarantined messages.
When something goes wrong
- The portal's Deployment page surfaces tenant connection, permissions, and live add-in usage. Most setup issues are diagnosable from there.
- The Outlook add-in has a hidden diagnostics panel — double-click the version chip at the bottom of the taskpane to expand it.
- If you're blocked, contact support at support@latasys.app.
